Rorschach Inkblot Workshop at Park Elementary

Therapicasso hosted their second Rorschach Inkblot Workshop this year, lasting two days - both April 16 and 17, 2025.Through this workshop, kids are continuously using their creativity to express their emotions— negative and positive. This art activity allowed students to have their imaginations run wild using a piece of paper and ink. Through this, they can paint and draw how they picture and how they see the world. Each art piece represents a different perspective to things as everyone interprets things differently. This shows how each person is unique in their own way, especially with their creative visions.

With the final event that Therapicasso hosted with Park Elementary School for the school year, they ended off strong with the Rorschach Inkblot Workshop. The workshop emphasizes the individuality of each and every single participant. Students proudly show off their artwork, each of them being unique and abstract like their artist. The two friends in the photo each have different ways of expressing their emotions. The individuality of their artwork is something not  just these two students have, but rather every single participant shares, with their own stories and emotions through their different art pieces. Each artwork is not only meant to be seen and shared, but is meant for the artist to express the passions lying beneath each  art pieces’ surface.

Therapicasso never merely hosts an event - instead they sincerely get to know the participants. They want students to know that they’re here for them, and that they see the student’s potential, acknowledging what students may be going through. Therapicasso believes in the importance of building a community with every single student that they meet, as every person has their own story to share and tell. Therapicasso is a family and community composed of everyone they meet, to make sure no one ever feels alone again.
